SheCodes Workshop (Grades 4-6)

October 5 & 7

Cost: $50

​

Applications are currently open for our SheCodes workshop.  This 2-day workshop for girls and non-binary youth creates opportunities to increase confidence and interest in coding.

​

Workshop Details:

• Curriculum created and taught by female Tech students

• Focus on introductory coding through hands-on activities

• Designed to create a supportive, low-pressure learning environment

Explore Program (Grades K–3)

Cost: $150​

​

**Registration opens October 1**

Explore teams participate in FIRST LEGO League and meet for 75 minutes once a week January through April.  Students  build and program a robot while developing teamwork and problem-solving skills.
 

This is an application-based program.  Team placement depends on:

• Student availability

• Team balance and experience

• Availability of volunteer parent coaches
   

Teams will be finalized by the end of November.

Volunteers Make It Possible

Our programs depend on parent and community volunteers to serve as coaches and mentors.  The number of teams we form, and how many students we can accept, is directly tied to volunteer support.  If you're interested in coaching, we encourage you to indicate that in your student’s application.
